Sun Bears is a very easy,"catchy" piece with a rock beat that can be played by young bands when they are ready to transition from unison band method exercises to band music.

The opening theme is played in unison, then played again with the band split into two groups, each playing part of the theme, with featured drum fills.

The piece will work with the simple snare drum/bass drum part, but will be more effective if you have a student who can handle the drum set part.
